Reflecting on 5 Years Since the Marshall-Motley Scholars Program Launched
At a time when the civil rights of Black communities and the future of the nation’s multiracial democracy hang in the balance, the Marshall-Motley Scholars Program (MMSP) is rising to meet the moment. Five years in, the program has trained 50 scholars united by a single mission: to train the next generation of civil rights lawyers prepared to challenge systemic inequality and advance racial justice in the South.
